Don is out of the hospital and very glad to be so. He got out Sunday after a week of not-so-hospitable hospitalization. He's excited to come out for my graduation and will stop at nothing to get here. Even if it means letting Mom drive.

My coworker, Bev, offered to make cream cheese mints for my graduation! Yummy. I'm so glad I met her. For other reasons than the mints, let me tell you. She and I get along so well that we can read each other's expressions from across the room already. It's only been six weeks since I've known her, but we just clicked.

I am feeling really comfortable in my new job at the library, getting to know and remember the patrons. It's a good feeling when I can recommend a book that they'd never thought of. The patrons seem to like me. I think it was time that a younger person came in there and showed them some new ways of doing things.

I have two weeks of this quarter left, and then I graduate. I have two weeks off following that and then back to school again for 11 more weeks to actually finish the degree I'll receive at graduation. I'm seriously thinking about taking some time off of school to reconnect with my life. The house is a disaster, as I don't have the energy to clean it after 40 hours of work, 12 hours of school, and just about as many hours on the road to one or the other.

I am going to be a hair model. Just for one time only. My stylist and I have been discussing a new type of perm that she learned and I am sucker enough to try it. I scheduled my appointment for late July and then she called me and asked me to be a model for a demonstration she's doing on the technique and would I be able to make it? I arranged things at work, and now I'm going to get my hair done for free, which is a good thing, because it costs a lot to have your hair done where I do! :)

Well, I'm trying to get on here and post more often...How am I doing?
